Andreas for 2022 groups will ride a 4stroke. Yup, not just a 4 stroke but the MY 2022 430 RR.
I will need to explain. No he was not disapointed by the 2stroke. Neither used at it or had enough of it. His opinion is still that for the hard enduro, tight routing trails, the 2stroke is a bike to choose. Any 2stroke. It’s simplicity, the fact that runs with a carburator (this article does not in any level refers to TPI) the light engine function, the total weight, the torque, the power deliverance combined, will make you fill the king of the hill but still…
Andreas lately was looking to chalenge his self a step further. He is a strong rider, he took the juice out of the 2stroke 300 and now it’s time for him to put his body and mind to the test have a completely different bike to guide our groups. An easy task for the everyday rider but what will happen when things get hard? Well, personaly and after riding behiond him for more than 1000 days in my life I must say NO, no trouble at all. He is a rider that adjsuts in any kind of terrain, engine or challenge very quickly. His strong body is able to copntrol a lot of power and his riding mentality is just unstopable. What I am expecting to witness in the following seasons groups is lots of laughs and competition, lot’s af cheering and new advewntures with a new bike.
A few words on the bike as I drove it a little bit. The suspension is different. It’s softer for sure in functionality, making you feel that the bike is friendly. Factory redesigned the fork tubes making them feel awesome in the ride. It’s 110 kgs are making the bike and easy total to ride. Imediately on it’s seat you feel a friendly motor and handling, probably delivered from the redesigned chasis and it’s soft and precise clutch. Bike is very strong if you juice the throtle, but in combination with it’s new suspension setting it gives you a feeling of precision and safety riding it fast. Uphills can be conquered easier and with great control, engine breaking and throtle responce will give you an advantge riding fast on trails. It’s an awesome new comer and we will have to put it in the test for many rides ahead.
